An embroidered Japanese rhinoceros beetle as a pinned specimen seen from above, with a long chestnut head horn that forks into two incurved prongs each with a second tine, a short black thoracic horn pointing forward, a black pronotum, navy wing cases with one royal sheen on the left and stout splayed legs.
